Dog
training with Angie Cremeen has been a huge success! Our dog Woden,
a Giant Schnauzer, was a very difficult puppy to deal with. He combined
the energy of a small terrier, a size that would ultimately reach 90
pounds, and a stubborn streak, that only cosmic revenge for my own teenage
treatment of my parents could give to an animal. From the most basic
indoor initial classes, through to the advanced outdoor training, Angie
was an extremely competent and thorough professional. She also showed
a flair for the job that could only come from a love of her work. Without
her ability to train me to deal with my dog, as well as show Woden what
he needed to know, my wife and I would not now enjoy the wonderful relationship
we now share with him. I recommend her services to everyone who owns
a dog.

Just
wanted to express my thanks to you for the tremendous job you do as
a trainer! I remember that first class, when you went over all the things
our dogs would do at the end of the 6 weeks. Looking back, it's funny
now because I clearly recall thinking "Yea, right. My pup the treat-crazed
maniac is really going to 'Leave It’! I know the other folks in
class felt the same way turned out; 'leave it' wasn't that hard at all!
Leave
It, Sit, Stand, Down, Wait, Stay in any position, loose leash walking,
Heel, Finish, Go to your bed, Come, etc. Not too bad at all for a 7
month old pup!
I am particularly impressed in that you have a clear understanding of
different types of dogs and the wide patterns of behavior they (and
their owners!) can display, and that you tailor your methods to the
individuals seamlessly in a group setting. Not an easy thing to do!
As you know, Mystique is a dog that, without the proper training, would
be a real handful. Thanks to you, she is the best-behaved dog I have
had.
Needless to say, you delivered on everything you said, and more! We
will continue to use you as our trainer as we work toward our CGC and
we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to anyone who wants to make life with their
companion a little more enjoyable! Thanks again!

Stuhr a"Perfectly Happy Customer"!
My
husband and I thought it would be "fun" to get two puppies
instead of one, last Christmas. They could play together, teach each
other, and moreover keep each other company. The breeder recommended
having two girls instead of a boy and a girl, because of the possibility
of breeding in the same litter. As our English Mastiffs grew into HUGE
puppies, they began to gang up on us. Not listening to commands, failing
to keep off our couches while we were out of the room, not behaving
well around company, soiling carpets throughout the house, and most
importantly, taking them for walks had become us being taken for walks.
The neighbors loved it, while we were quit frustrated. We were not able
to enjoy our babies the way we had hoped. Then I met Angie. I told her
about a few of the problems we were having and within a few minutes
with her I had realized she really knew what she was doing and we, clearly,
did not. We began with puppy lesson # 1. After the very first day we
noticed a difference. They weren't pulling on the leash during walks.
By the 3rd lesson, they stopped jumping up on company. Each lesson was
filled with so much information; we would forget some of it. Note: Bring
a notepad and pencil. The final lesson left us with puppies we always
wanted, and the knowledge to know it was US needing the lessons, not
the dogs. We highly recommend Angie in particular, as she has a very
professional and loving manner with animals. Her personality made the
classes fun, and instilled a strong sense of camaraderie throughout
the class. And she is a very warm and sweet person to be around. When
the puppies are ready for the 2nd step, we will not hesitate to call
and start up with Angie, again. Feel free to talk to Dave and me about
Angie or our Huge Mastiff puppies, anytime.

It
really has been an honor and a privilege working with you. When I came
and observed your class, I just stood to the side and listened, your
knowledge and experience is incredible and it shows. You really do have
a way with the dogs, and people you work with, I learned a lot. Thanks
for everything your the best,

Angie
was a great find. My husband and I purchased a black lab for our son
to be his first dog. He turned out to be a real handful as he got older,
so we decided to attend a training class with a very well known trainer.
This experience was not only discouraging but very expensive as well.
After talking with the trainer about our frustrations with Dukes issue
of biting me when he got overly excited, especially when around other
dogs, we were told that Duke was not a “good fit” for us and
we should find him a new home. This went against our beliefs, when you
bring a dog into the household it becomes a part of the family and you
don’t just give up on them at the first sign of trouble. My husband
also had concerns about placing a dog that would bite hard enough to
cause bruising, so we decided to get a second opinion. That’s when
we found Angie, she talked to us about switching to a different training
collar that would make it easier to control my 90-pound dog and would
work better with his personality. With our newfound hope, we started
attending Angie’s training classes. Today Duke is a new dog; his
socialization issue with other dogs is 90% better and we take him everywhere
we can. Without Angie, Duke would have ended up as a rescue or euthanized
instead of part of our family. Thanks to our little angel Angie.

When
we purchased our English Mastiff puppy, I knew I would want her to be
well trained – it’s not a good idea to have an untrained 180-pound
dog around the house. I feel very fortunate that we found Angie.
Angie
is passionate about her work and LOVES dogs. She did an excellent job
of helping me train my baby, Shasta. She focuses strongly on positive
re-enforcement which Shasta responded beautifully to. She also helped
me unlearn some bad training methods I had learned from a previous,
less qualified trainer.
Finally,
Angie is a wonderful resource. Her knowledge of dog behavior is outstanding.
It was nice to be able to frequently ask her why Shasta would behave
a certain way, and Angie always had creative, helpful suggestions on
how to positively modify an unwanted behavior. Thanks Angie!

I
have a rat terrier named Paco who has really benefited from Angie's
training. Of my three rat terriers, Paco is the only one who is extremely
shy and sensitive. And--because he is so loving at home, I made the
mistake of not socializing him outside the home during the "critical
period" like I did my other two. The result of his being such a
"home boy" is that he tends to be very paranoid in social
situations (outside the home). He's doing great in Angie's agility class
and training, though. It's helping him to learn how to trust new people,
new dogs, and new situations. I have trained him myself at home, but
what he really needs is training in the midst of distractions--that's
where the training really gets grounded. He's getting that at Angie's
and is doing great! He loves to go there and is becoming a better all
around dog as a result of his experiences there.

We
brought our lab Macy to Angie's training class and it helped us so much!
Without it, we probably would have given our dog away. As first time
pet owners, we learned so much that helped us train Macy to be a wonderful
dog to have around.

I
wanted to thank you for providing a wonderful training program. Mandy
is showing a lot of improvement in her behavior, she is still a puppy
and full of energy, but she is a much better pet now than she was 6
weeks ago. We were concerned that she was going to be unmanageable after
our experience with another trainer; but thanks to your abilities, you
gave our difficult to train puppy a future with us as we travel to our
new home in Michigan. We will miss you and thank you.

Thank
you for helping us get to know our dog better and bond faster with such
a lovable creature. Philly is a happy pit bull puppy even at 2 years
and 7 months of age and at 63 pounds a real handful. We would have been
doomed as first time pet owners without you helping us to keep our pet
safe and well manageable at home and in public. You
taught us a-lot,

Bailey
and I appreciate the interest you have in both the dogs and people and
how helpful you were at working with our scheduling issues. I was surprised
at how quickly Bailey learned how to do all the different agility obstacles
and his confidence really increased. We had a good time in your agility
classes and look forward to returning for your CGC class this spring.
Best regards.

from Eden Oak’s: Oh My Heaven (P.J.) & Not Redi For Heaven
(Redi) and our owners Lee Ann Martin and Amy Lightner thank you too.
People
are crazy; they attempt to train their own dogs..... Then they finally
go to Angie and she shows them how to do it the right way. Thanks to
you, we can now sit stay, down stay, come with distractions, and all
that good stuff and we are only 5 1/2 month old. We look forward to
seeing you around at obedience trials.
